The Accounting Specialist program prepares full-time students to enter the workforce within nine months.
Students in this program learn accounting procedures and terminology along with medical billing and coding. Computer applications for accounting are taught as well as bank accounting. Students leaving this program are prepared to maintain a set of books for a sole proprietorship, account classifications, subsidiary record accounting, corporate accounting, and payroll accounting.

Note: A student must complete either 2 – 1 year programs or 1 -- 2 year program, plus take these general studies classes in order to be awarded an Associate in Applied Science degree. Technical courses can be no more than 5 years old.
